hi everyone, I’m allyson! I’m based in Phoenix, Arizona, and all my life I’ve spent my free time with my head in books and manga.

my Blind Date with a Book Bar began when I created one for my own wedding. I loved the idea of giving our guests a thoughtful and unique favor they could enjoy even after the celebration was over. It felt so special that I wanted to share the idea with other bookish brides and anyone looking to add a cute bookish touch to their wedding, party, or special event.

since I’m always reading, I love so many different genres, from romance and fantasy to horror, and literary fiction.. Some of my favorite books and manga include Berserk, Tender Is the Flesh, Delicious in Dungeon, Skip Beat!, Attack on Titan, Normal People, The Cruel Prince, and The Infernal Devices.
